EWRC Chairman, Assos. Prof. Ivan N. Ivanov, PhD held a work meeting with Mrs. Gunn Oland concerning the activities under project “Implementation of Euro electricity market in Bulgaria – II phase”. Mrs. Oland is the Programme director from the side of the Norwegian energy regulator – NVE. They discussed the results of the measures EWRC have taken on the project organization and training of experts for the transition to an operative power exchange.

Earlier in the day, Mrs. Oland had a series of work meetings with experts from EWRC, ESO and IBEX. A number of key aspects of the project have been discussed related to building the capacity of the energy regulator for effective energy market surveillance and monitoring and practical training in connection to power exchange trading.
