On 31 January 2020 an inaugural press conference on Project BG05SFOP001-2.012-0001 “Enhancing the analytical capacity of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission” will be held at the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission. The project is financed under procedure BG05SFOP001-2.012 by the Operational Programme “Good Governance”, co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund. The project is being fulfilled by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The main objective of the project is the enhancing of the analytical and technical capacity of the Regulator and improvement of the price regulation and the electricity market efficiency, in particular, the efficiency of the electricity network companies and the quality of network services they provide.
Invited to take part in the press conference are the management of the Ministry of Energy, the Energy Committee to the National Assembly, the Commission on Protection of Competition, the Financial Supervision Commission, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as EBRD and Good Governance directorate of the Council of Ministers.
The press conference will start at 10:30 a.m. at EWRC premises, hall 4, 8-10, Knjaz Al. Dondukov blvd.
